DJ MAM is the stage name of DJ Marco Aurélio Marinho, one of the biggest names in the Brazilian music scene. He is a producer, composer and curator of music labels and various festivals. Publicist and also a radio broadcaster, MAM has an intense relationship with Rio de Janeiro. He is the author of the city’s official music and the theme song for the 80 years of Christ the Redeemer. He is also one of the main attractions in mega-events such as the famous Copacabana New Year’s Eve, Rio’s anniversary and the Red Bull Air Race. He has a strong relationship with the most renowned singers and composers in the country and has performed at festivals around the world. He is responsible for the entrance of the Red Bull Music Academy in Rio de Janeiro and takes several awards in his career. He is a speaker and participates in showcases and stages in the most relevant fairs and festivals related to the musical world such as AME-Atlantic Music Expo by WOMEX, MIDEM Latin America, SIM-SP, Roskilde Festival and WOMAD, among others.
