Promotion of the 1st Criptoart Exhibition at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in São Paulo

After successfully promoting the I Criptoarte Exhibition in Rio de Janeiro back in November 2023, LatAM Intersect PR was entrusted with spreading the word about the São Paulo edition of the showcase at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil.

The immersive exhibition, titled “Decade of the Oceans – I National Criptoarte Exhibition,” opened its doors on March 27th, offering a diverse panorama of art, innovation, and technology. The display aims to foster profound reflections on the intersection between the contemporary world and the future we aspire to in an ecosystemic, interdependent, hyperconnected, and highly technological planet, albeit facing clear challenges of coexistence and sustainability.

Conceived by Byron Mendes, founder of Metaverse Agency, the first criptoarte agency in Brazil, the exhibition is curated by Marcio Harum, a member of the curatorial team of the Contemporary Art Biennial of Antofagasta in Chile, and brings together 18 artists in support of the oceanic cause. The theme was chosen in alignment with the initiative of the United Nations (UN), which designated the period from 2021 to 2030 as the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development – more commonly known as the Ocean Decade, aiming to raise global awareness about the importance of oceans and emphasize the significance of new applications, services, mechanisms, filters, and actions that favor the health and sustainability of seas.

LatAm Intersect PR is responsible for publicizing this significant exhibition in the media and has achieved positive results in outlets such as NeoMondo, the sustainability portal of O Estado de São Paulo newspaper, Exame – Future of Money, Veja, Veja São Paulo, and the program Cultura na Rua, aired on TV Cultura.
