Communication specialist in outreach and public relations, manages the agendas of project directors and monitors the different activities of the outreach plan. She has worked as a PR consultant for communication agencies in Latin America, executing and managing strategies and content tailored to the interests of clients, through relationships with national and international press, influencers, associations and schools. She has built, throughout her career, partnerships with some vehicles such as El Universal, Canal 22, La Jornada, El Reforma, Grupo Fórmula, El Financiero, Revista Quem, Televicentro, among others. With a degree in Communication and Journalism from UNAM, she has collaborated with different Mexican theater productions, among them the Opera Irreverente Company and the Leviatã Collective. With Opera Irreverente, for example, she worked as a press advisor in the planning and execution of the communication plan for the promotion of the annual opera contest “Vozes Irreverentes – Vozes com causa”, the first digital contest of its kind in Mexico, through social networks and the media. As a journalist, Gina has collaborated with major digital and print publications, such as La Jornada Maya, in editing and content creation. Themes related to culture and art are the passion of the journalist, who has already written theater reviews and has enjoyed the experience. When she was 18 she even danced professionally, which has now become her favorite hobby. Because of the pandemic, she took up a talent she had long wanted to do: painting.
